Video recording (sans audio) of MAME running the game, showing glitches on the 3rd screen.
Released in July 1982 by Atari under license from Sun Electronics. Approximately 9, 800 units were produced by Atari.
The hardware used by Sun Electronics was quite inferior sprite hardware compared to what Atari was designing and using at the time, and this is apparent when 2 sprites overlap each other . Rich Adam from Atari's coin-op department famously criticized the game in an April 1982 memo and the company's decision to license the game based on a mere one week's worth of earnings (when Atari's own games were held to more extensive play-testing)!
• BUG: On the 3rd screen, when the top branch breaks and apples start falling, an apple occasionally appears in the lower-left corner that’s constantly blinking.
Also, after beating level 9, the level counter starts displaying letters instead, starting with “A”.
