Even though i am scared of the unknown, I adore the ocean. Apart from the initial fears of 'omg i may get eaten by a shark, stung by a jellyfish, step on something weird', going to the beach and swimming in the sea has always brought me so much joy. The feeling of being weightless as you float along while staring at the sky, it's truly amazing.
I wanted to do a video about the sea and how its changed overtime in terms of quality, ie before pollution and global warming got as bad as it has. In the video you see i'm enjoying the water, having a blast with my family. But not all water is the same. In a lot of places there are huge build ups of rubbish and waste. With global warming and pollution, the water is becoming more and more dangerous for wildlife to live in, especially with the amount of plastic that makes its way into the sea. I have seen way to many horrible images of what a careless human mistake can do to so animal populations and species. I guess i just want to remind people that this is an ongoing issue that we need to try and face.
