At least 38 people were killed in a Russian strike near the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in one of the deadliest attacks on Ukraine this year, officials said on Saturday. The attack sparked fires in Bucha district, damaging at least 50 homes and a care facility. Russia said it targeted a warehouse storing drone components, while Ukrainian authorities vowed accountability over weapons allegedly stored near residential areas.
