My style is more catered to rock songs, like Power Rangers, Beyblade, etc. so when it comes to doing something like Doom I had a lot of work to do!
I wanted to do a mashup of the original E1M1 song and the new style, so I used the tempo of the new style and downtuned a bit to match it. Then for the ending I had to downtune my 6 string to B (which is the lowest it can go before it get's messy) and then digitally downtune to get to Drop E to match the 8 string that was played on the original. The new style is half dubstep, half metal, so it was quite difficult to get something similar, but I think it turned out okay, it's not a style I'm very used to, so it was a challenge.
