Rebels blaster artillery had little to no effect on the AT AT's armour at the Battle of Hoth. Direct hits from the Rebels blaster artillery and snowspeeders cannons were dissipated harmlessly by the armour. Only two shots in this video even managed to superficially scorch the surface of the AT AT's armour (essentially "scratching the paint").
The AT AT's armour can withstand laser fire which would destroy other armoured vehicles.

Imperial battle droids demolish a ~60mm (2.5 in) thick metal door using E-11 blaster gauntlets.
The door was blasted apart in a quartet of explosions that had enough force to scatter its mass. This demolition was performed so that the sentry droids could quickly pursue fleeing rebels past the closed door.
The blasters were clearly used on a higher power setting to achieve this level of destruction. At all other times, the battledroids continued to discharge standard power shots with blasters set to kill. Note the difference in magnitude between regular powered shots which merely scorch thick metal surfaces and maximum power shots that can actually blast through through the bulkhead.
Considering what a maximum powered shot can evidently do to an unarmoured metal surface, vehicular armour that can shrug off blaster fire with minimal or non-existent visible damage must be orders of magnitude more resistant compared to structural metals like titanium & steel (in terms of intercepting directed energy weapons).
