This session aims to provide choral directors (at any level) with tools and tricks to increase the music literacy of their choral program. The main focus of the session will be the step-by-step process of teaching fluent music reading skills through the consistent development of sight-reading skills, use of music theory, and ear training in the rehearsal room from day one. Session participants will be taken through mini-lessons designed for every skill level from novice to expert.
