My mom-in-law brought this laptop to me, which belonged to her friend. They said it stopped working and wanted to know if it could be fixed. They originally brought it to the Best Buy Geek squad, who told them it needed a new motherboard and that it was toast.
I looked at it and.... thought the same thing. It won't power up at all. I'm going to salvage some parts and recycle the rest.
