Astronomers have found what they say is the first evidence of a rocky exoplanet with an atmosphere. Forty-nine light years from Earth, or some 441 trillion kilometers, it is a planet called LHS 1140 b orbiting a red dwarf star and it has an atmosphere, it is rocky and is within the habitable zone of the red dwarf star.
