Riot Glass, LLC recently tested several patented systems to ASTM F3561.

This test protocol was designed specifically to demonstrate whether or not a window or door can withstand multiple projectile penetrations followed by a sequence of high impacts to determine the strength of the system.

Riot Glass has always focused on the design, development, and manufacturing of systems for this purpose. We are delighted to report that we passed all the way through level 8 in fixed door and window systems with Riot Glass retrofit framing and infills installed.

The test methods are pre-evaluation for glazing configurations, not pre-qualification or certification. Results are to be used to assist in glazing selection for system tests.

Institutions have are many choices for glazing protection, and we hope that publishing our test results we'll make it easier to analyze the true strength and value of our products.
