The last 5 years have seen the release of some great horror films, for example, The Witch (2015), Get Out (2017), Hereditary (2018), Us (2019), Midsommar (2019) & The Lighthouse (2019). The 6 films I just listed are by 3 directors: Ari Aster, Robert Eggers & Jordan Peele, and I believe this trio may be spearheading a new horror movement. In this video, I will attempt to breakdown and analyze this horror movement, in order to define it and figure out what we should call it.
