Today we celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Taken body and soul into the glory of heaven, Our Lady shows us the hope that awaits all who belong to Christ. Where Mary has gone before us, we too are called to follow, our hearts fixed on her Son and our hope set on heaven.

May she draw us ever closer to Jesus and teach us to desire the things that are above.
