The Shelby GT 500 is an automobile, created in 1967 during the restyling of the Ford Mustang Fastback dating from the same year. Carroll Shelby, who produced his own mustangs under his own brand, followed this development and took advantage of it to give his mustangs a more personalized style and now clearly stand out from the mustangs produced by Ford.
Shelby made the decision to equip its line with a "high performance" model powered by the most powerful engine a Mustang had ever had under its hood, a 428 ci (7 L) Ford Police Interceptor V8. Thus was born the Shelby GT 500. the maximum speed of the mustang gt 350 is 325 km/h
