With the release of Intercontinental GT Pack, Kunos finally includes Suzuka in their next-generation racing simulator. And I happen to own Suzuka & AMG GT3 in RaceRoom, too, so I figure it's time to do a video for both games as a comparason.
So... although it's the same car, they handles a bit different. R3E version feels less stable and becomes very angry at you when trail-braking. ACC version, on the other hand, feels heavier, but is much easier to drive.
Another obvious difference is the dash... I wonder why is the display unit so different in these two games, maybe these AMG GT3 were from different years?
Head tracking in ACC is quite impressive, although some players may find the tilting very disturbing, it works both in driving and during replay, while R3E's 'look to apex' feature added last year is completely broken when watching a replay.
As for sounds, R3E is still impressive despite being an old game.
All in all R3E is still quite impressive, since it's basically a remaster of G-Motor 2 engine, while ACC is using both brand-new graphics engine (although UE4 really looks on the 'meh' side most of the time...) and more expensive sound processing mechanics.
