Joined by Dr Byron Waldron we talk about and rank the emperors of the Third Century Crisis from Alexander Severus to Carinus. This part focuses on the emperor Maximinus Thrax (the Thracian).

The Third Century saw the transformation of the Roman Empire from the Principate to the Dominate and laid the foundations for the Late Roman Empire and thereby the Eastern Roman Empire.
