In this step you’re making the front and back halves of the table. You’ll build the front first. Look at the resources to learn more about different joinery configurations.
Setting up the rails and legs will take up the majority of your assembly time (about 2hrs). Remember to pay special attention to how you lay the Y rails on the ground. It’s also best to do so with a friend. Once assembled, these bases are heavy - LIFT AND MOVE CAREFULLY. If you choose to assemble the table using a drill, make sure to set it to the closest torque setting and the slower speed. Never use an impact driver to assemble the AltMill.
Tip: When you flip the table over, DO NOT flip it from the joint side. It will damage the components. Flip it from the opposite end.
