Representatives from the Assembly of First Nations and the Iroquois Caucus hold a signing ceremony for a renewed protocol agreement to strengthen cooperation. The ceremony takes place on the sidelines of the 2026 AFN General Assembly in Ottawa.

Speaking are the AFN's Don Kelly (communications director), Joe Lazore and Billy Sunday (knowledge keepers), and Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak (national chief), and the Iroquois Caucus' Cody Diabo (caucus chair).

Afterwards, Nepinak and Diabo respond to a question from a journalist about the federal government's Major Projects Office.
