If three birds, one stone was ever a thing, this would be just it!! Ubisoft had every incentive needed to make this dream come true!! Assassin’s creed 3 and Unity were 2 of the best-selling titles, Shay had a fan base that was ever growing, all 3 games were converging at the perfect point in time plot wise and crossovers are usually more successful because fans of all the characters involved show up to the party, pumping the numbers higher than usual, so in essence, this would’ve been the Avengers of Assassin’s creed!! It’s as heartbreaking as it is annoying that despite there being great monetary benefit AND demand, Ubisoft seems to want to ignore the only things that fans want!! And although I hope that Mirage would be the game changer, it’s a fact that they’re taking poorly written and received characters like Kassandra and Eivor and trying to shove them down our throats with mythological and Isu garbage, which has driven most Old school fans away!! But the good thing is that this doesn’t stop us from wondering, what if?
