Assassin’s Creed Shadows launched to a strangely muted reaction. A lot of early coverage and YouTube takes labeled it as “okay” or “mid,” and then quickly moved on.
After spending serious time with the game, I don’t agree with that assessment at all. This video is a full, long-form review focused on the game itself — its systems, gameplay, world design, combat, progression, and overall experience.
In this review, I break down what Assassin’s Creed Shadows actually does well, where it stumbles, and why I think it deserves far more praise than it received at launch.
