The tip is to just find a dead body either lying around (any will do and you don't have to kill them either), lay them in a crocodile din, have the croc chase you a bit, then hid. The croc usually goes along the same path. This took about 5 minutes to get as sometimes the croc wasn't hungry for my prey.
