Assassin's Creed Mirage isn't a quasi remake of the first game, or even much of a back-to-basics reset for the series. It's very much more Valhalla. But, it is so much better than any of Valhalla’s DLC expansions that it’s hard to disagree with it being spun-off into a standalone title.
