Using the Fallout 3 compatibility bit in Nvidia Inspector on driver version 334.67.
You have to set the ingame reflection option to medium for the AO to show up.
AO only shows up on objects that are relatively close, there might be a better compatibility bit. I'll test some more later.
I reccomend using it alongside the Helixmod fixes for the Assassin's Creed series to get rid of the fake AO blobs the game normally has.

This compatibility bit also works in Assassin's Creed 2, with similar results. Sadly, I was unable to find a bit that worked with the DX10 version of the first Assassin's Creed; the Fallout 3 compatibility does work in the DX9 version, however..
