The first half of this longplay I do as much exploring as possible, then once I finally get to the more open waters of the game I go for all the forts then continue the main game for a bit. Once I unlock the diving bell I do all the stuff with that, minus one treasure that I was unable to find. Finally after that I just complete the rest of the story and only focus on the remaining Mayan puzzles which by that point I only had 3 left.
I did buy the DLC that shows all icons on the map to help me out during the parts where I was just exploring for things.
