Welcome back to our early morning seminary teacher training series! In our previous videos, we discussed questions that help students think about and understand gospel principles. In this session, we focus on questions that cause learners to reflect on spiritual experiences and feel the truthfulness of a doctrine more deeply.

Moving from Head to Heart: Discover how inspired questions can help bring the gospel from students’ minds down into their hearts. When students truly feel the importance of a doctrine in their hearts, they are much more likely to apply it in their daily lives.
Inviting Inspiration: Great teachers ask questions that invite inspiration. We explore President Henry B. Eyring's powerful example, contrasting an intellectual question that simply asks for a list drawn from memory ("How is a true prophet recognized?") with a question that invites individuals to "search their memories for feelings" ("When have you felt that you were in the presence of a prophet?").
The Power of the Pause: Learn why you should wisely wait for a moment after asking these inspired questions. Pausing ensures that even those who do not speak out loud will be thinking of their spiritual experiences, which directly invites the Holy Ghost into your classroom.
Practical Classroom Examples: We provide real-world examples you can use in your lessons, such as asking students how their lives are different because of what happened in the Sacred Grove, or when they have felt the peace and joy that comes from forgiving someone.
