Hello Tomorrow Asia Pacific ran a pilot 🔬Ask a Scientist🔬 session alongside two local ground-ups in Singapore, Hopefull and 6th Sense (generously run by Abhishek Bajaj), where our very own A/Prof. Ang Hui Ying shared with some precious kids (aged 8 to 12 years) about the heart ❤
Aside from the bazillion questions Hui Ying skillfully tackled, the kids got to play around with balloon catheters and stents, and even listen to each other’s heart beats with the stethoscope!
If you’re a practitioner in #STEM, you, too, can help elevate less-resourced communities anywhere in the world (but hey, start local!) while breaking the mold of orthodox “classroom science”.
To get started, check out our programme here: bit.ly/htaskascientist
A big thank you to Jen Goh, Wilshia Maruli, Abhishek, Manavi Sachdeva, and Hui Ying. You guys make the world a better place
