Ashwath Narayanan was a featured artiste at the FEA-curated and presented CUSP festival held earlier this year in Chennai. The penultimate piece of his recital was a virutham in in the form of a Ragamalika featuring Kapi, Sindhu Bhairavi, Behag and Ahir Bhairavi. This was followed by a "Pibare Rama Rasam, composed by Sadashiva Brahmendar in Ragam Ahir Bhairavi.
Ashwath was accompanied by B Ananthakrishnan on violin and Praveen Sparsh on mridangam. Tambura support was provided by Latha.
