Ashtray Navigations is the longest-running musical project of prolific label owner, fanzine distributor and multi-instrumentalist Phil Todd. With a fluctuating line-up of collaborators including Neil Campbell, Stewart Keith, Phil Legard and Alex Neilson, Ashtray Navigations currently perform as a two-piece featuring Mel O'Dubslaine on various instruments and devices.
Establishing a world-wide network of like-minded musicians and artists long before the internet made such activities Commonplace, Ashtray Navigations' influence can be traced through the work of many of the key figures of today's DIY underground.
