I’m playing the Ashes Demo, a dark story driven mystery with a graphic novel style. In this demo playthrough I step into the shoes of Azar Warren, a 16 year old skater who accidentally witnesses a murder and is forced to hide at her grandfather’s rural compound. What starts as a safe place quickly turns into something much stranger as secrets begin to surface.

Ashes mixes visual novel storytelling, mystery, and psychological tension, with strong atmosphere and hand drawn visuals that feel like an interactive comic. The demo gives a first look at the characters, the setting, and the choices that will shape the story.

If you enjoy story driven games, indie narrative adventures, and mystery thrillers, Ashes is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
