Lore:
Ashen Sans was once a guardian of the underground, much like the original Sans in Undertale. However, a tragic event changed his life forever. In his timeline, a powerful and malevolent force threatened to engulf the underground in darkness and chaos. This force corrupted many of his fellow monsters, turning them into ruthless and destructive beings.

Ashen Sans, determined to protect what remained of the underground and bring an end to the darkness, sought out ancient knowledge and dark magic that had long been sealed away. In his quest for power, he made a fateful decision to harness the very essence of the corrupted monsters, binding their dark energy to himself.

As a result, Ashen Sans gained unique abilities, but at a great cost. He became a being of both light and shadow, his appearance marked by ashen-gray hues and eerie, ghostly features. The darkness within him granted him formidable powers, allowing him to combat the malevolent forces, but it also burdened him with the memories and torment of the corrupted monsters he absorbed.

Haunted by the choices he made and the darkness he carries, Ashen Sans now wanders the underground as a somber and enigmatic figure. He is tormented by his past and the burden of his powers, and he seeks redemption for the actions he took to protect his world. He often finds himself at odds with other Sans variants from different timelines, attempting to prevent them from making the same mistakes he did.
