"Words" is the second single from the upcoming album ”Loud and out of place” due to be released in November 2014. It's About closure in a relationship where the blinds are finally off revealing the dishonesties of a love relationship — it's a slow grower.
"I wrote this song with Fredrik Berger (Charli XCX, Icona pop, et cetera). It was one of those songs that sort of writes itself, the music, melody and lyrics came so quickly that it took us under two hours to have the whole song done. Emotionally it resonates in experiences of previous relationships that entailed a rude awakening into a reality of humiliation and heartache. Leaving the relationship is the only way to preserve the little dignity that is left. I think it is something many of us can sadly relate to, being blinded by love and lust and allowing our partner to get away with much more than we ever thought we could possibly accept. That said, it is still a song about self empowerment and chosing yourself over a damaged relationship that only brings you down." – Asha Ali
