I broke one of my bass strings while I was recording this song. I'm not sure why the string broke; it may have had something to do with the fact I beat it mercilessly with a drum stick. I was too lazy to change it, and I realized it was actually easier to play the octaves in this song without that extra string in the way. And that's the story of when I broke a bass string and was too lazy to change it.
