Today we’re going to take a look at a cool jazz scale called the Lydian Dominant scale. This versatile scale is perfect for beginners who want to explore more “outside” sounds and add color to their playing.
Instead of only using it over dominant chords and grooves, today we’ll break out of the box and explore two Lydian Dominant licks inspired by Mateus Asato, bringing in some smooth neo-soul flavors.
