It hasn't rained for forty days and forty nights .. but it sure has been raining a lot here in Green Country. I've been sneaking out into the garden to grab my berries between thunderstorms, and harvesting the first grain crop of the year: Fagopyrum Esculentum. This little flower, a member of the knotweed family, has been grown for its nutrition packed seeds (its a flower seed, not a grass seed) since the time of Noah's flood .. and may once have helped save us all from starvation. here's why we're growing it ..
