Vanessa German is at once one of America’s most exciting fine artists, and a citizen artist/activist. She is the founder of ARThouse and Love Front Porch, grassroots community arts organizations in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. As the 2019 Creative Ecosystems Conference keynote, German mixed her signature performance art with insights about inclusion and empowering marginalized groups of people in underserved neighborhoods.
