Ok, first of all, I really hope you Arthur/Gwen fans don't kill me for this video. lol. But, anyways, I got inspired to make this after I watched "The Power of Love" by the amazing meeshell384. She made a video with Arthur/Marian. Anyways, so the credit to the song and inspiration for this goes to her.
Sorry, this is going to be a long description. But, well, I love "The New World" and Pocahontas, and I thought she'd make a sweet couple with Arthur. I know the time periods are way off, and there would not be any Native Americans in Camelot, but just bare with me. lol. I'm actually very proud of how this video turned out! I just fell in love with these two. I think they are precious together, so I will probably make more videos to them sometime in the future.
I really hope you guys will give this a chance, and I would REALLY appreciate your thoughts and comments in regards to this. I normally don't ask this, but please, if you have time to watch this, please leave a comment.
The story is pretty self explanatory. If you guys don't understand something, just let me know.
And here is the DIALOGUE in case some words are hard to understand. Hope the sound isn't too awful! Thanks for your time!
DIALOGUE:
Arthur-"What are you doing?"
Uther- "If there is the slightest doubt about this girl, she must die or the whole..."
Arthur-"You hear the word magic you no longer listen."
Uther-"She's played with fire."
Arhtur-"I don't believe evil is in this girl's heart."
Uther- "I cannot take that chance."
Uther-"If you will not undo your sorcery you force my hand and I must find you guilty. I have no choice but to sentence you to death."
Arthur- "Don't be scared. I've sent word to your people. I'm taking you to them. You must come with me."
Uther- "You disobeyed me."
Arthur- "I don't care."
Uther-" I'll see you let out in a week."
Uther- "Arthur, gather the guard together."
Pocahontas-(speaks in native language)
Arthur-"Sun."
Pocahontas- "Sun."
Pocahontas-(speaks in native language).
Merlin-"I've never seen you like this. About anyone."
Arthur-"What are you talking about?"
Merlin-"You really care about her, don't you?"
Uther-"Wheres my son?"
Merlin-"I'm not sure where he is. I um..."
Uther-"Where is Arthur?"
Pocahontas-(speaks in native language.)
Arthur-"Lips."
Pocahontas-"Lips."
Pocahontas-"Come Away."
Arthur- "I can't. Nothing can ever happen between us. I'm sorry. I must go.
Merlin. "Arthur."
Guard- "The princess is up the river at Pestancy(?). They sent her to her uncle Patawomek. And he proposes to sell."
Arthur-"You can't do this."
Uther-"Yes I can."
Arthur-"You alright?"
Arthur- "I'm sorry, for, what I put you through."
Pocahontas-"Are you kind?"
Arthur-"It's all talk, and that's all it can ever be. Knowing that hurts too much."
Merlin-"He's gone."
Arthur-"Anything you want. Anything you need, all you have to do is ask."
Pocahontas- "You are the man I thought you were, and more."
Arthur-"You read me like a book."
Arthur-"Father we're not going into battle, you don't have to look so somber."
Pocahontas-"Why have you not come to me?"
Arthur-"We've been through this. I'm afraid my father would never understand."
Arthur-"I've never loved another."
Pocahontas-"One day you will."
Arthur-"You know I can't."
Pocahontas-"Yes."
