Join art historian Rachel Spiegel Gerstein to hear a biographical reading of Peter Blume’s enigmatic painting, "The Italian Straw Hat" (1952). Gerstein explores Blume’s working process and biographical influences, shedding new light on a lesser-known, 20th-century modernist, whose technique resembled Flemish and Italian masters.
