Thanks. This is the 1933 version, btw. Probably the version you heard. There are four versions of Art Tatum's rendition of Tiger Rag: This version of course is the one that was recorded in March 1933 in which Tatum won the cutting contest. The 1932 version is very rarely heard and favors the Dixieland Jazz Band's original version. The 1935 version is very nice, and not many people prefer the 1940 version, because it is not quite as on point as this version, and he was much older when he played it (so his hands weren't quite as agile as now). This video is the 1933 version. It's my favorite, and most people's, by far. Thanks for viewing. (:
