Welcome to my new series called (Creative)Art Chat!. I invited 5 creatives to answer three questions. Each video will include the creatives answering one question. The next set will include 5 different creatives answering 3 different questions.
So what's the reason behind the series. Initially, it was fascination. I admire so many creatives and it's fun to get a bit of insight and behind the scenes. But I also believe that sharing not only our time but our lessons learned builds a stronger, better art community.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the creatives that graciously took some time out of their busy schedules to answer these questions.

Jen Crossley is an Australian mixed-media artist and highly sought after instructor. Her art is truly unique, incorporating found objects, vintage ephemera, etched metal, resin, and more. With a true eye for detail and the ability to see past a rusty bit of metal, Jen is able to create assemblage pieces, tiny books, and stunning jewelry from this assortment of pieces she collects.

Kasia Avery
"Art that's not realistic is not art" - ever thought that? Because I certainly have. I was literally sweating and stressing my days away when striving to become that "proper" artist, painting landscapes in oil - something that was not me in the slightest. And then one day I discovered art journaling and I was hooked. The glitter fell from the sky and I knew I was saved. I learnt that real art is self-expression, a story, and an honest experience. I discovered that the process can (and should be!) pleasant and joyful rather than a constant struggle. Since then I am constantly art journaling, (daily!) and I want you to dive in with me.
In 2015 me and my husband Jamie established Everything Art Ltd, where we create courses and offerings that help you discover your inner artist.
