Carefully assembled over time, art collections can endure long past the visionary who started them. Spouses, the next generation, or museums may become recipients of collections, carrying on the legacy of the original collector while simultaneously leaving their own mark on its present composition and future course.
In this talk, four panelists share their insights having navigated the opportunities and challenges in stewarding a collection that was established by someone else and discuss how “next collectors” can shape the art collections that will come into their care.
