Watch Lauren Tate Baeza, Fred and Rita Richman Curator of African Art, and special guests in conversations at the intersection of art and spiritual practice. Drawing from ideas and themes in "Bruce Onobrakpeya: The Mask and the Cross" and "Ancient Nubia: Art of the 25th Dynasty," this series of talks includes art historical presentations on ancient Nubian cosmology, Jesus Christ as a muse, new mythologies, West African water deities, and Yoruba spiritual and aesthetic retentions in the African diaspora.
