Turmeric is considered an ancient spice used in culinary arts in Asian and Indian cultures for centuries. As a medicinal supplement, it also has incredible health benefits, as well.
In this video, we explore using Turmeric root and ground powder as a pigment and how it reacts to the air and on paper. I also add in a bit of honey-based carbon pigment with M. Graham's Sepia 178 watercolor, to maintain that mineral/organic quality.
