At 7 year's old, Aron van Selm's dad brought home a 61-key Yamaha keyboard. From this day on Aron van Selm started his musical journey, playing keyboards, and later drums and piano. When Aron van Selm heard a tune on the radio, he was dedicated to find out the melody and it didn't take long until he could play along. When hearing the Gladiator Film Soundtrack this sparked his interest for Film Music. After several years he joined a pop/rock band and further developed his musical experience. The modern music in combination with film music eventually became the foundation of Aron van Selm's artistic identity.
Currently, Aron van Selm is gaining recognition across the globe. International fans describe his music as “Ludovico Einaudi meets Hans Zimmer”
In the modern piano music industry, Aron van Selm’s music stands out with his magnetic twist of emotive piano, orchestral and electronic elements.
Aron van Selm plans to continue his path as a composer/producer, creating outstanding, original covers of iconic soundtracks & pop songs, as well as creating original instrumental music.
