The Arnau New York Concert Anniversary pre-party, hosted by Dimash USA was held on December 9, 2019, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, NY. It was a magical evening of Dears coming together, sharing in their excitement and anticipation of the phenomenal event that was about to occur!
The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is an iconic venue with a rich history and has been considered the heart of the Brooklyn arts scene since the late 19th century. The BAM stages have been graced by world-class artists over the years and has been a haven for artists and musicians working on the cutting edge of performance art.
Dimash USA had one goal; to ensure that this would be a night to remember for all! Over 300 Dears and special guests gathered together to celebrate this momentous occasion on the eve of Dimash’s first solo concert in the USA!
Guests arrived for the pre-party and were greeted by Dimash USA team members at the check-in tables. They were presented with a custom-made canvas tote bag, produced solely for this event, featuring an adapted design of the “Arnau” concert poster image. Each tote bag was filled with a set of commemorative concert buttons, 2 posters, a custom Dimash lollipop, a Dimash USA flag and bookmark, as well as other candy! A representative from DQ World attended the party as well and unveiled their Dimash chocolate bars, and also generously provided bottles of “DQ Scent of Music” perfume to give as prizes to Dears that evening!
The party room included larger than life lit arches overhead, decorated with the United States and Kazakh flags and balloons featuring the colors of both countries as well. Videos of Dimash’s performances were shown on a jumbo projection screen throughout the evening. Tables were set with white linens, decorated with custom Dimash stickers, musical note confetti, balloon centerpieces and Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses. A 10 foot banner with the U.S. flag was hung in the lobby. In front of it stood a custom-made “Arnau” New York concert promotional cardboard cut-out featuring the image of Dimash holding a Golden Eagle. It was a perfect photo-opportunity for Dears to “take a picture with Dimash”.
Members of Dimash’s family and team were also in attendance! Dears had the opportunity to meet Dimash’s sister Raushan, brother Mansur, as well as backup vocalists, Jordan, Zarina and Rassul! Dimash’s band members attended and performed for the guests that evening, showcasing the Sybyzgy (flute like instrument), the Dombra and the Qobyz. Rassul gifted guests with a vocal performance. Members of the Dimash USA Fan Club generously provided entertainment that evening, including violin and dance performances. Throughout the event, Dears danced and sang along with the Dimash videos being shown, as well as during the violin presentation of “Give Me Love” (Mahabbat ber Magan).
Dears from all over the world thoroughly enjoyed their time with each other, relishing in an atmosphere of pure joy, love and celebration!
Dimash USA is extremely thankful for the assistance provided by its members during the event. Members aided in bringing the pre-party supplies to the venue as well as taking everything back to the hotel afterward. They also contributed towards the decorations and the three gorgeous cakes provided for the party, which were pristinely decorated with concert promotional images. Several Dears brought gifts for Dimash to the party, which Dimash USA delivered to Dimash at his hotel following the event.
Dimash USA Fan Club would like to express our sincere thanks to all of our members that helped make this evening possible! Special thanks to our “Master of Ceremonies” (MC) as well as our members who assisted with greeting our guests and check-in! Your assistance and support were truly invaluable! We also would like to thank our special guests; DQ World, Dimash’s family members, and team members for joining us on this evening of celebration! Many thanks for the support and love they provide and for the work they do to assist Dimash with his concert preparation and presentation. We are truly grateful and feel eternally lucky to be the benefactors of this hard work and dedication! We hope to gather again in the future upon Dimash’s return to the USA!
