Army of Two: The 40th Day is a third-person action shooter developed for PSP by Buzz Monkey and published by Electronic Arts in 2010. The story follows mercenaries Rios and Salem, who arrive in Shanghai for what seems like a simple job, only to find themselves caught in chaos when a mysterious organization known as the 40th Day Initiative launches a massive assault on the city.
NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ - Army of Two: The 40th Day is a quick, fast-paced action game, but it suffers from graphical and AI-related issues, leading to visual glitches and odd NPC behavior. For an action title, the weapon roster also feels weak, I was expecting a much larger variety, but instead I ended up using the same weapons for most of the game. Despite its flaws, I still think it’s a game worth experiencing at least once, especially if you enjoy quirky and unique titles from that era.
