The municipality of Gire Spi have started a campaign to reconstruct "Istqlal" church.
The church was heavily damaged by ISIS gang groups during the ISIS occupation.
Armenians who survived the genocide in the late Ottoman period and early Turkish Republican era constructed the church in 1924.
The complete restauration of the church is expected to be finished by the new year.
