Marvel is taking the Avengers off the board... and replacing Earth's Mightiest Heroes with the X-Men. Is this the biggest status quo shakeup in years or another mistake waiting to happen?
Marvel Comics dropped several bombshell announcements during San Diego Comic-Con, but none bigger than the reveal that Armageddon will fundamentally change the Marvel Universe. Following the event, the citizens of the Marvel Universe will reportedly turn against the Avengers, paving the way for Storm and the newly announced Maximum X-Men by Christopher Yost and Tony Daniel to become New York City's premier superhero team.
