Here we are in 2021, and this video is long overdue. The modding community continues to push the envelope of what the ArmA 3 engine can do a little bit more each passing week, and in this video I’m going to highlight 15 of the some of the best realism mods available on the workshop. Do know that these are largely my own opinion and that there are an absolute shitload of incredible mods on the workshop provided by some of the best content creators in the gaming world. A couple of these have been featured before in a top list but have not been featured on the realism list, so I thought I’d give them a second nod to suggest that not only are they incredible mods in their own right, but they will add to your immersion into this wonderful game we all love so much. Hey guys, and welcome back to another video. I know most of you follow me for the ArmA 3 mod lists and other ArmA related things, but I wanted to shine a little light on a game that I think has a ton of potential and deserves a lot more of the spotlight than its currently getting, and THAT is Tiny Combat Arena created by Why485 and published by Microprose. This game is considered a simu-lite, meaning while it is primarily an arcade style flight game like Ace Combat, it has light simulator elements that spice up the game play and give it added risk.
Tiny Combat Arena aims to combine the nostalgia and feeling of early to mid 90s combat flight simulator games like F-22 Interceptor and mix it with arcade style gameplay of Ace Combat. Tiny Combat Arena is a labor-of-love combat flight simulator that aims to strike the perfect balance between a simulator and an approachable, customizable, air combat experience. All executed in a stylized look representing a fictional Cold War-era conflict.
