“Arly Hanks” (CBS 8/20/94)
Based on the first book of Joan Hess' series Malice in Maggody. Filmed in Atlanta, Georgia the plot centered around Arly Hanks (Kate Jackson) who, after divorcing her husband, leaves her life in New York City and returns to her small hometown of Maggody, Arkansas. Once there, Arly becomes the new police chief and must learn to deal with mischievous residents while solving mysteries. Additional Cast: Ron Perlman, Polly Bergen, Lane Davies, Olivia Cole.
