Here is the difference:
Silverash' second skill activation can be triggered earlier to help clean the wraith leaders wave.
It can be triggered as soon as the wraith leader reaches Silverash' tile.
The skill will last until the Defense Crusher wave. At this point Angelina and Eyjafjalla should be ready to cover you.

I found Texas' stun on the wraiths irreplaceable. It's crucial to keep the wraiths in the area of Saria's skill.
