Meet Aristoteles Cortes-Loera, a neuroscience major at The University of Texas at Austin. The summer after his first year at UT, Aristoteles interned with the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation in Frisco, Texas, as part of the Home to Texas program.
Home to Texas is a scholarship-funded summer program that connects first-year students with internship and research opportunities in their hometown communities. The goal of the program is to develop a strong professional foundation early during a student’s UT experience, to build connections for a potential future in the student’s home community and to help prepare the next generation of community leaders.
