GHM PRO is high-stakes training for industry dancers. It is the most advanced intensive in THE GALEN HOOKS METHOD 2-Day intensive offerings. Dancers must submit to be accepted into the program.
This video is a mock rehearsal for Ariana Grande.
The students learned the piece in 4 hours total.
(This piece is only one portion of the intense layout of the GHM PRO 2-Day training.)
Changes were made dozens of times to intentionally throw off the students the way they would be on a real job.
These constant obstacles are used as a teaching tool in order for the dancers to develop and apply skills specific to industry dancing.
The GHM Pro session teaches everything from ‘How to work with an artist’ to ‘How to work with the camera’, the really specific nuanced things you don’t learn until you are on the job (and sometimes, you don’t even learn it there).
This intensive gives dancers the tools and experience they need in order to avoid making those mistakes on an actual job.
This was the first GHM PRO session in Atlanta ever!
